CRONY X BRENT LAMB
Brent Lamb (he/him) is a creative problem solver and maker based out of Seattle, WA. From an early age he was inspired by the imagery and fringe mentality of skateboard, snowboard and surf culture who’s DIY ethos afforded him the agency to begin to make art himself. True to those core beliefs in the futility of rules and the drive to explore, he continues to make art and create across a variety of mediums and creative industries. The source of his inspiration still includes but has expanded beyond those seminal ones to draw upon the ever pressing social, environmental and political issues that shape our current and future realities.
Brent’s designs reflect directly upon the absurdity of our lived experiences. He strives to abstract and recontextualize the mundane and omnipresent elements of our visual canon to create a new platform upon which the viewer can meditate and reflect.
We are often blind to that which is in the plainest sight. Guided by this principle, he presents us with specific snippets, selected from the endless barrage of visual information that surrounds us in popular culture and daily life, in the hopes that the viewer can give focused thought to what these images can tell us about the history, current state and projected course of our shared reality.
The intention behind this practice is not meant to be didactical or overtly critical. Instead, Brent aims to provide the opportunity for the viewer to regain their individual sovereignty by consciously digesting and therefore personally deciding how these forces affect themselves and our society. With any luck, these opinions formed on a personal level can drive us to make more pointed decisions that empower us to form a better world for all.

5% to PROTECT OUR WINTERS
Part of our Maker Collaborations is giveback donation. Brent has chosen to give 5% of proceeds from this collection to POW.
Protect Our Winters nonprofit that focuses its efforts on legislation regarding climate change. The nonprofit, created in 2007 by professional snowboarder Jeremy Jones, strives to turn outdoor enthusiasts into climate advocates. POW believes it takes three things to solve the climate crisis: technological & financial solutions, political will, and cultural shift.
